AAANZ TABLE GATHERINGS

Community is the centre of our life – and one way that we can achieve this is through gathering.

At table gatherings, we meet around a meal table to support and learn from each other. Gatherings can be organised by members and friends of the AAANZ, or anyone else who is interested.

These table gatherings are not direct activities of the association and are not controlled or administered by the AAANZ leadership. We advise seeking the covering from a local church, and to abide by Safe Place Policies of that local church. A group may form on the basis of an informal friendship in a private home and there again have no legal affiliation with AAANZ.

As such, gatherings can look all kinds of ways! Some gatherings focus on a meal, some have discussion questions, some are light-hearted, some gather around games – gatherings can and should work for the people who attend them.

Peacemeal.co has some great practical ideas for putting together a welcoming table gathering.

Our website and monthly newsletter are also resources that have information on anabaptist topics.

Send us your details in the form below and we’ll let you know of any Table Gathering in your neighbourhood or help you to connect with people in your area to try and get one going.
